Dr Sarah Buckley – Sarah J Buckley is a trained GP/family physician with qualifications in GP-obstetrics and family planning. She is the mother of four home-born children, and currently combines full-time motherhood with her work as a writer on pregnancy, birth, and parenting. Sarah also contributes for us and is a valuable Little Eco Nest team member.

The Maternity Coalition – Maternity Coalition (MC) is a national consumer advocacy organisation committed to the advancement of best-practice maternity care for all Australian women and their families. They bring together groups and individuals for effective lobbying, information sharing, networking and support.

Home Birth Australia – HBA is the peak national body for Homebirth in Australia. For over thirty years, HBA has worked to support consumers and midwives who choose homebirth. The organisation is run by volunteers – consumers and midwives.

Birthrites – Healing After Caesarean – Birthrites: Healing After Caesarean aims to provide a support network for women who’ve had a previous c/section(s), and to increase the awareness of these women’s needs to their health-carers within the medical profession.

The Australian Doula College – The Australian Doula College (ADC) is an integrated health care centre providing education, support and continuity of care for women during pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.  Through our network of qualified and experienced educators, doulas and practitioners, we can offer a variety of services, treatments and support.

MyBirth – A collection of we information from books, brochures, medical documents, research papers, government reports, speaking to midwives, doctors and qualified doulas about birthing in Australia.
