Motivation ≠ Adrenalin

Spread the love

I used to think that motivation was adrenalin.  Now I know that it is peace.

If you want success in 2014, I can tell you that what works for me is to find peace for myself as a first port of call. Work out how to sustain that. From a place of peace I know that you can make your wildest dreams come into being. You no longer feel that you are chasing your dreams, rather you become the architect of your dreams from the stability of an existence that already fills you with grateful, abundant energy.

So take 5 minutes. Heck, be wild – take 10!  Sit down and don’t just write goals. Write how you want things to be. Think about what you need to feel completely rested.

Now think about what you need in terms of ACTION to make that happen. It may even be a change in your attitude that is required. OR you might actually have to do something.

If you want to reach high heights, if you dream big – remember that you are in control of your life. Your thoughts. The way things are. Start by embracing peace and work out from there. I have to add that you should also not feel bound by the dreams you once had. For me it feels great to assess the direction of life and make sure it is still offering an experience that you want. It’s ok to change your mind and to consider what is best for you and your family today and into the future.

Hope that these words are helpful in your journey to fulfillment and joy in 2014 and beyond.

Blessings, blessings to you and yours!
